Friends of MacDonald Public Library

The Friends group is looking for caring members of the community who would enjoy volunteering their time and sharing ideas for planning and presenting wonderful programs and other fundraising ideas that could benefit all ages of library users and community members. Programs currently being sponsored by the Friends are:

Annual Book Sale
Annual Plant Sale
Annual Santa Storytime
Book Break Book Discussion Group
The Great Michigan Reads Program
One Book One Community Program
Ongoing Used Book Sale

The Friends mission is to help enrich the community by connecting people to the world of information and imagination available for all at the library. If you are interested in joining or financially supporting the Friends of MacDonald Public Library, see a  library staff member for a Friends Brochure.

A one year membership is available from October to October, Levels of support include:

• Youth to College                         $5.00
• Adult                                                $10.00
• Family/Organization                $20.00
• Lifetime Contribution              $100.00
• Other Donation                           $_______

The Friends of MacDonald Public Library meets quarterly on the first Monday of the month at 7:00 pm in the Velma MacDonald Community Room. The next meeting will be held on July 6, 2009, won't you join us?
